You want a peek into my camera roll today?
Alright then.
Random everyday magic.
Thatβs what you are about to find out.
The random beauty of life makes me squeal like a child. That’s exactly why my camera is like a fly on the wall of my life, privy to everything that makes the little Lulu in me go WOW!
Fairy lights, potted plants, blushing flowers, and a new hair cut. That’s all Lulu needs to bedazzle a country with a smile that can put Mona Lisa to shame.

The smallest of thingsβa tender new leaf, twinkling lights, a bright flower on its way to become a fruitβbring me joy that lights up my heart through the day until I fall asleep at night.
Sometimes even a pot untouched by human care, quickly filling with weeds, can stop me in my tracks. I moon over their tiny flowers that beg to be touched with love and showered with some affection before someone rips off their life support tomorrow.
These seemingly random things remind me of a friend who often quipped, “What is Life, Lu?”
What isn’t Life, darling?
Look around you.
Isn’t life alive and blooming out there? Isn’t it calling you to breathe in the freshness of a new dawn, the lightness of sunshine, and the comfort of the mundane?
Life is the magic all around you, if you care enough to smell the perfume of joy woven through the tapestry of our dailyness.
Sometimes my breakfast magically mirrors my balcony: the sunshine-yellow walls and the golden money plant finding their miniatures in a simple plate of puffed rice upma.

Other times, my meal plates are a riot of colour, as if they’ve played Holi with each other.

Most times I’m just capturing the colors of my lifeβa cup of mint tea that glows gold, a plate of idlis that blush red, a favorite nook of my living room aglow with hope and prayer, a painting that speaks of the changing seasons of life, a rangoli that personifies light, or a resplendent, wise owl peeking through my coloring book.

My camera roll is a love letter to life’s small, vivid, surprising moments that invite you to notice life blooming everywhere and find joy in the quiet everyday magic of ordinary moments.

Care to drop a tiny pearl from the ocean of your mind?
