I am a jack of many trades, king of none.

The world might sneer, but I don’t care.

A life on the hamster wheel, I wasn’t born for.

A solo entrepreneur, I was sworn to be.

From an introvert to a businesswoman in fashion, I have worn many hats.

But the life of a soloist swimming in the liminal waters of her precious solitude and silence is the one I always fall back to.

My puzzle box of a life has a sprinkling of it all; God, Art, Books and Magic.

Sharing an on/off relationship with being a seamstress,

Being a full time cook at home,

A day of mine seamlessly moves through the tapestry of fine silks and cottons to transmuting milk to cottage cheese and ripe tomatoes to tangy preserves.

Who am I beyond the lives I lead and the hats I wear?

Like an ocean exploring its rolling waves,

I am a Soul here on Earth to explore the shores of human life.

Curious and introverted, reveling in the music that Solitude plays for her beau Silence.

I am not a stranger to WordPress.

WP is kinda like the home for my many moods and many avatars.

A peep into my memory palace takes readers on a tour across the cornucopia of sunny fields of joyous nostalgia and dark rooms of melancholic nightmares.

The graveyard shift offers a plethora of photographs clicked while holed up home during Covid, staring into the graveyard across my balcony.

Find your light within gently takes you by your hand and guides you to your own light amidst the confusion and noise the world has now become.

Written during different blossoming gardens of life, I was just a window opening myself to welcome you to their heady whispers of mirth and everyday miracles. 

From finding love to losing the safety of companionship,

From fear of suffocating isolation to discovering beauty in the shifting light of a graveyard,

From the cold wreckage of heartbreak to rejoicing in the cozy warmth of self-esteem,

My words and thoughts have flown across the world and back, bringing back peals of laughter and pearls of wisdom from you.

Beginning again, afresh with a widened mind and a wizened heart,

Stepping into the middle ground of age and experience,

Hoping for a longer, deeper, and richer second innings filled with connections, conversations and compassion.

From Art to Books, from Musings to the big daddy of pauses, Menopause; I share about everything that leaves me drenched in emotions. Emotions are my very own rain forest. They allow me to explore life, discover its beauty in chaos and solitude alike and recover from its brutal yet transformational challenges.
